November 28
Brighton to Catherine's
A single track down Rocky point
Sunset peak.
One turn
Used the man made snow at Brighton exiting below Dog Lake. Marginal cover on the east facing to the ridge above the lake.
There was better coverage on the north facing all the way to Catherine Lake. Northeast facing Rocky point had a supportable crust near the ridge becoming less so with descent in the more sheltered terrain. Sunset peak had similar conditions.
There was localized drifting along the ridges and some cross loading down off them. Ski cuts did produce a few cracks but nothing wanted to move.
Small sluffs on angles over 35°.
Currently forecast increasing winds will likely form some drifting of the 6-9" of light density snow, found today.
